Package with illegal guns and ammunition seized at logistic centre

The Hunts Bay Criminal Investigation Branch is probing an incident in which three illegal guns along with an assorted ammunition were discovered in a package at the听Kingston Logistic Centre located at听Newport West.
Reports are that around 11: 45 a.m. yesterday听during a search on the premises, located on Shannon Dirve, a听.357 Smith and Wesson pistol, a听Springfield pistol and a听Ruger听pistol were recovered.
The contraband were discovered听when personnel at the centre scanned the听package.
